don't worry, i'm still here!

jeepers. i kind of forgot to post anything for a while there. Well if you really want glasgow details you can go look at my sister's blog, it's all there. it was fun though. my family are insane.
after abandoning em in london and flying back here with the parentals i've been floating along rather contentedly. i of course made it back just in time for the amazing phenomenal night that was U2. i'm still basking in the glow. those kids really know how to put on a show. shannon and i got there at about 9.30, 10am, and sat in the baking sun alllll day but it was worth it cos we had an amazing spot. i'm still wondering why they had kanye west as supporting. i like kanye, he has some good songs, but kanye + U2 = not a good mesh...
UM i also got back into the swing of things at work, thrilling as always (speaking of work, i had to make the girls close the store at 12.30 today because of some massive power cut that has taken out all of hornsby!)
my best friend got engaged, but i'm fairly sure everyone knows that now!
i went to an awesome ep launch (yes derek, i'm plugging gallery again) - a very fun night, the guys had a ball, heaps of people came, it was fun times all round!
and i've hopped back on the audition circuit lately - on monday i had an audition for a short musical festival - it was the first time i had ever performed in front of avi since graduation (avi was my nida director) which was quite nerve-wracking, but she was actually quite nice! i never really know where i stand with her... there was no callback involved but that actually worked out for the best, seeing as i realised i'll be away for most of the season so couldn't have done it anyway!
tomorrow night i have an audition for a production of Into The Woods (some of you know it, all of you should love it) which is exciting, i'm not reallly prepared as i should be, because they've given me the audition material - normally i go into an audition with stuff i've picked myself, so if yu fluff a line they can't really call you on it, but these guys have given me the song and script i have to learn...uh oh.
i might go to that now!
